About the speaker

Prof. Dr. Tobias Kollmann holds the Chair of E-Business and E-Entrepreneurship at the University of Duisburg-Essen and thus teaches basic and start-up knowledge for the digital economy. He received a special prize at the UNESCO Entrepreneurship Award “Entrepreneurial Thinking and Acting” for his special teaching and support concept in this area. His associated textbooks “E-Business” and “E-Entrepreneurship” have been the standard works in this field for over 15 years.
As co-founder of AutoScout24, he was also one of the pioneers of the German Internet start-up scene and electronic marketplaces. Brandwatch counts “Prof_Kollmann” among the TOP-10 most influential Twitter authors on the topic of “Digital Transformation” and “Digital Leadership”. According to FAZ, he was among the 100 most influential economists in Germany in 2018 and 2019 with “weight in media, research and politics”.
