The introduction

As a growing, venture backed technology company providing leading Invoice-to-Pay solutions to companies globally, we are seeking a backend Senior or Medior Developer to join our Development team, headed by our CTO.
The Development team is responsible for the development of the Cevinio application (backend and frontend). This includes new feature development, bug fixing, maintenance, integrating with external systems and customer implementation. In addition, the Development team supports the internal IT infrastructure and works together with AWS and Azure, where we are running our cloud platform. The development projects work according to SCRUM with sprints of 2 weeks.

About our technology

  • Containerized in Docker and Docker Swarm, with the intent of moving to Kubernetes;
  • Main application stack in PHP;
  • Additional microservices in Python and NodeJS;
  • Event-driven architecture using RabbitMQ;
  • Persistent relational data storage using MySQL;
  • Inbound, outbound and internal interfaces using RESTful APIs;
  • Infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible;
  • Continuous integration using Jenkins;
  • Issues tracking using Atlassian JIRA;
  • Version control using Git and Atlassian Bitbucket.

About your job

  • You will be assigned to projects in the different areas, and you will follow a structured development process;
  • You will be building a high-available, high-scalable and secure Cevinio platform;
  • You will be helping enterprise businesses around the world with cost savings in their invoice process and by resolving cash issues;
  • You will help setting the direction of where we want to grow to as a technology company, during your work on the projects;
  • You will manage the changes on the platform, based on the quarterly goals;
  • You will work with the operational team and the customer;
  • You will be writing code for our platform;
  • You will participate in daily huddles and bi-weekly company catch-up meetings.

About you

  • You have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar;
  • You have at least 3 years of progressive Developer / Software Engineer experience;
  • You have good verbal and written skills in English;
  • You love working with developers that are aware of the latest trends in the tech world and you are open to adopt new technologies. You expect to share these with the rest of the team.
  • You have a good understanding of our business and the work we perform or able to understand this in a short time;
  • You are able to work systematically, taking strategy as starting point focusing on the company’s BEST-Core Values (Be Loved, Exceed Expectations, Smart Innovation, Team Up), results and engagement.
  • You bring the following skills and competencies:
    • SOLID
    • PHP (>= 8.0)
    • Onion / Hexagonal / Ports & Adapters architecture
    • Automated Unit / Integration / Functional / Acceptance testing

    • Laravel
