As a growing, venture backed technology company providing leading Invoice-to-Pay solutions to companies globally, we are looking for a Customer Service Specialist, who will act as the first point of contact for our customers, and is responsible for the customer’s happiness.
As a Customer Service Specialist, you play an essential role in tracking the customer experience with our software. You work closely with different teams to ensure customer satisfaction. This involves answering questions, solving problems and testing new functionalities among. For our customers, our software is a crucial link in the business process and daily work. We are a crucial part of their purchasing processes, financial processes, and financial reporting. That is why it is important for us to provide the best and fastest possible support to our customers.

About your job

  • You will act as  the  first  point  of  contact  for existing customers in  the  success  phase  and  be  responsible  for adequate answers to the questions and incidents of the client;
  • You will hand over client issues and change requests to the appropriate department that cannot be solved by Customer Support and ensure proper and timely communication with the client;
  • Work closely  with  different  teams  to  ensure  customer satisfaction, answering  questions, solving problems, testing new functionalities;
  • You will convey relevant  information to the manager and the Sales & Marketing  colleagues, and support business development and sales initiatives

About you

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in, for example, in Business Administration, ICT, Finance or equivalent;
  • You have (at least) 2 years of work experience in a support team, preferably in a Tech environment;
  • You have minimal basic knowledge about accounting;
  • You are a friendly person who enjoys helping people and solving problems;
  • You have excellent oral and written skills in Dutch and English;
  • You can explain complex matters in a simple way and adapt your communication to different types of customers;
  • A proven track record with fantastic “customer service” experiences. You have an affinity with business software and business processes;
  • You have a good understanding of our business and the work we perform. Or able to understand this in a short time;
  • You are able to work systematically, taking strategy as starting point focusing on the company’s BEST-Core Values (Be Loved, Exceed Expectations, Smart Innovation, Team Up), results and engagement.
