As a growing, venture backed technology company providing leading Invoice-to-Pay solutions to companies globally, we are looking for a Business Development Specialist who is responsible for implementing the sales strategy. As a company we have the ambition to grow but we need your help to facilitate this growth.
As a Business Development Specialist, you bring in new customers and you know how to convince them of the added value that Cevinio brings on the table. You have an excellent intuition to approach the right potential customers and set up projects With your entrepreneurial spirit, you tackle problems, and know how to communicate convincingly and authentically. You will be reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer.


  • You will analyze the market to identify new potential key customers
  • You will discover new sales opportunities and responds by means of various media (e-mail, telephone, events, inbound website leads, etc.)
  • You will communicate with prospects and customers in an engaging and professional way
  • You will build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • You will actively participate in relevant networking activities
  • You will draw up, negotiate and close agreements to maximize benefit
  • You will identify the needs of existing customers
  • You will forecast and track key account metrics
  • You will prepare report on account status
  • You will participate on improving our sales strategies and working method
  • You will manage our CRM and the sales administration


  • You have a master or bachelor degree in a relevant field or study
  • You have 3 to 5 years’ experience in tele sales
  • You have high affinity with Microsoft products and LinkedIn
  • You have the ability to build strong customer relationships in order to grow the business
  • You have a commercial drive, ability to think from customer perspective and outside-in approach
  • You have excellent communication and writing skills in Dutch, English and German
  • You have a proactive attitude and are detail oriented
  • You are customer- and result-oriented
  • You master commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind
  • You have a good understanding of our business and the work we perform. Or able to understand this in a short time
  • You are able to work systematically, taking strategy as starting point focusing on the company’s BEST-Core Values (Be Loved, Exceed Expectations, Smart Innovation, Team Up), results and engagement
